We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

 

 

Assistant Headteacher L5-10.

Required for September 2018

 

The Governing Body of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary school is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Headteacher. The successful candidate will work effectively with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to lead this popular one-form entry Catholic school on the next stage of its journey. This post will be class-based.

 

We are seeking a candidate who:

·Is a practising Catholic who will contribute to the Catholic ethos of the school

·Has the ability to take a lead on the spiritual and faith life of the school

·Can work in partnership with the Headteacher in moving the school forward

·Is highly motivated and able to demonstrate leadership skills and experience of successfully leading aspects of whole school improvement

·Has a clear knowledge and commitment to safeguarding practices

·Has strong management and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, lead, mentor and support colleagues

 

Who will take responsibility for:

·The quality of Teaching and Learning in RE and SRE

·Actively promoting the Ethos and faith life of the school

·SMSC throughout the school

·Safeguarding in conjunction with other Senior Leaders

·Behaviour and pastoral support
